1. What storage means here
Cookies are small records a browser sends to the website. Local storage holds browser preferences without sending them automatically with each request. This policy covers both technologies and related optional performance scripts used on www.srisanth.in. It should be read with the privacy policy.
Essential verification/security storage supports features you request. Theme and English-region settings are saved when selected. Optional performance measurements are not enabled merely because you browse, scroll, ignore the banner or use a form.
2. Storage inventory
Production verification cookies are HTTP-only and Secure. Development cookie names can omit the __Host- prefix. Browser or provider features can add operational records outside this application’s direct control.

3. Consent choices
The first-visit panel offers Reject optional, Manage choices and Accept optional. Optional performance collection starts only after an affirmative choice. Essential verification and requested preferences remain available when optional collection is refused.
Cookie preferences in the footer reopens the choices at any time. Turning performance measurements off stops further application-authorised events; it does not erase information already delivered to a provider. Global Privacy Control is respected for optional measurements. After 180 days, or if the stored record is absent or invalid, the application asks again.
If browser storage is blocked, features can operate only for the current page/session and preferences may not survive navigation or reload. The site does not interpret unavailable storage as consent.
4. Optional and external services
Vercel Speed Insights is dynamically loaded only with optional performance permission. Events are filtered before sending, and private admin/API paths and URL query strings are excluded from application-authorised measurements.
The language menu uses a supported browser’s on-device translator. It does not redirect to Google Translate or embed its scripts. A browser-managed model download may use a network connection under the browser provider’s policies. Other project and social links are similarly governed by the destination’s policies.
5. Browser controls and questions
You can block, inspect or delete cookies and local storage through your browser. Deleting verification storage signs you out or interrupts a code check; it does not automatically remove server-side records or delivered email. See the privacy policy for server retention and deletion requests.
