1. On a first visit
The site follows your device’s light or dark setting until you choose a different appearance. It asks whether optional performance measurements may run. You can reject optional collection and continue reading, downloading resumes or using verification.
The public portfolio does not require a marketing or analytics account. Choosing an appearance or English region can save that preference in your browser. These preferences are separate from a verified identity.
2. When you verify
Requesting an email code creates a short-lived browser challenge and a server record. A correct code creates a verified session and a private returning reference. The session cookie is inaccessible to ordinary page scripts in production.
Keep the code and reference private. A contact receipt does not unlock a session. Lost a reference? Use Forgot reference, confirm inbox access again and receive a replacement where a recoverable profile exists. If the profile has expired or predates recovery indexing, start a new introduction.
3. When optional performance is accepted
The application may load Vercel Speed Insights to measure page loading and responsiveness. The feature is not used to sell personal data or display targeted advertising. It is separate from essential hosting and security logs, which support delivery even when optional measurements are refused.
Declining or withdrawing optional permission prevents application-authorised performance events. No preference is inferred from silence. The website respects Global Privacy Control for this category.
4. Change or remove a choice
Open Cookie preferences in the footer to accept, reject or manage optional performance measurements. Use Appearance to switch between Match system, Light and Dark. Browser storage controls can clear the saved choices entirely.
Signing out invalidates the current visitor reference. Clearing cookies can sign you out but does not erase delivered emails, all provider logs or server-side profile records. See Privacy policy for retention and rights requests.
